Kendra Sloan is a contemporary fibre artist with a background in fashion design. Kendra works with a combination of different materials, predominantly working with textiles to make woven and threaded works in 2D relief and small-scale sculptures. She communicates thematic concepts through balancing organic and geometric elements of her choice and combining the qualities of soft fibres and hard, solid materials, representing characteristics of her love of architecture and the elements of design in nature.
